Please find below the closure notice from the Oval —

All CSSA practices for the week of March 16th are cancelled.

Message from Oval:

The safety of athletes who train in our building, the public, and our staff is our main priority. Out of an abundance of caution to protect users of the facility and in line with recreation facilities of similar size, the Olympic Oval has taken the difficult decision to close immediately until further notice.

Updated building hours will be posted as soon as possible in advance of our normal closure on Monday, March 23.

As the COVID-19 situation is still developing, there is no determined timeframe for reopening the facility. This decision will be dependent on many factors being weighed by the university. Once a decision is made, members will be notified by email, and notices will be posted on our website and social media channels.

Thank you for your understanding, we will continue to send information to you as we know.
