The CSSA Special General Meeting (SGM) has been scheduled for Today, July 7, 2020 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ramada Inn downtown (708 – 8th Avenue SW, Calgary, AB) in the Okanagan Room.  It is a spacious room and it has been set-up to allow for physical distancing.  There are limited free parking spots at the hotel and nearby parking after 6:00 PM is inexpensive.  Due to Covid 19, no snacks or refreshments will be served, members are encouraged to bring their own water or coffee.

For those who have proxies, this is a reminder to please email your proxies (up to a maximum of two for a total of 3 votes per our current by-laws) to our Office Manager, Isabella Salazar (Isabella.salazar@calgaryspeedskating.ca) before 1:30 PM.

We encourage all members to attend the SGM as the current Board of Directors and the Technical Director will report on the season, discuss how the 2020-21 season may unfold, get your feedback and answer any questions you may have. Most importantly, you will elect the Board of Directors for the 2020-2021 CSSA season.  In addition, a motion is being presented in order to host virtual meetings in the future.
