Dear Skating Families,
In the last 24 hours, there have been numerous decisions made across the country with regards to the operations of sports organizations. The CSSA and Board of Directors take this situation very seriously.
Our skating practices for the season will be ending on Thursday March 19, 2020. As a facility user of the University of Calgary premises, we will be taking direction from the University. At this time, we have not received direction to cancel any practices at the Oval.

However, Speed Skating Canada has cancelled the remaining domestic events, including the Canadian Youth Short-Track Championships – West in Manitoba, where numerous CSSA athletes were expected to compete:
