Thank you for your patience with our Organization as we face the new Provincial restrictions for sport and recreation facilities. We are working to adapt our skating programs so that we may continue to operate within the COVID-19 regulations. Rest assured that our Coaches and Technical Director will be in contact with you soon to advise the changes you of the adaptations to our programs in the weeks to come.

With that, I would like to switch directions and announce a fundraising opportunity that has been developed by our Vice Chair of Development, Julie Egers. Please take a look at the attachment for more detailed information on our SkipTheDepot Virtual Bottle Drive.

We have partnered with SkipTheDepot, a Bottle Drive company that collects bottles conveniently at your door, all year round! All you need to do is select a time that is convenient for you, and their team will collect your recyclable bottles at no cost. All funds will be allocated to the development of Calgary Speed Skating Association programs and towards the purchasing of new skating equipment. We encourage that you help us spread the word to your friends and family in Calgary. Anyone with our Organization’s code can donate their bottles and contribute to the development of our club.
