AASSA has invited CSSA members, parents, and coaches to a virtual training set up to introduce new parents to speed skating as well as develop a strong volunteer officials program.
“With the season now wrapped up, AASSA is getting ready to host our first virtual Intro to Speed Skating, Regulations and Meets. You may be asking why are we doing this as the season wraps up? The upcoming 2021/22 season is looking at being a busy one. The need for volunteers will be key to ensuring that we have enough volunteers and officials to host meets. This session will welcome all who are interested in learning more about officiating. If you are a skater, parent or coach, we welcome your attendance and participation.”
Dates: Monday May 10th & Thursday May 13th. Time to be confirmed based on your evening availability.
Format: Zoom Online Call.
Cost: Complimentary to all Alberta skaters, parents or coaches.
